I have a friend that was born on October 25, 1989.  My desire is to locate and purchase a Jeep Wrangler that was built on her birthday.  The impetus and idea behind this blog hails from that desire.  On JEEP QUEST, I will be recording my experiences, findings and results.

The Wrangler I am looking for will have been built on October 25, 1989, but will be listed as a 1990 model year.  Because of this, I am gathering data on the 1990 Wranglers, and trying to pin down the production numbers (last 5 of the VIN) that correspond to that day's production.  UPDATE: I believe the production number range will be somewhere between 517340 and 519500.

If you own a 1990 Wrangler, I'd love to get in touch and get the production number and build date from you.  There is a sticker on the driver's door that lists this information.  UPDATE: I have been informed that there is also a 6-digit MDH code on this sticker which gives the month, day, and hour of final assembly.  I will be looking for one in the range of 102500 through 102524.
